Your Home is connected to a septic system with a septic tank. The septic tank’s only function is to separate liquid from solid.
A Typical septic tank has two chambers- an inlet and an outlet. Solids collect and build up on the inlet side of the tank. The purpose of pumping your septic tank is to regulate the amount of solids “sludge” inside your septic tank. This prevents the solids from accumulating and entering your leach field, which results in clogging it. Septic tanks need to be pumped every 2 1/2 years – 3 years.
Our technicians are trained and highly skilled in the functions of the septic system. With each cleaning and pumping service, we provide a visual inspection of water level, plumbing tees, and the structural stability of the septic tank itself. Our technicians are trained to recognize warning signs of deterioration or drainage problems with the tank, and we have repair division that we work closely with who can provide repair services.

They did fine and I'd use them again. During COVID, Out of the 10 4-star+ pumping companies I called, only 4 answered. S.P.S. was the soonest available [2 were booked 2 weeks out!] and cheapest [by $20 at $405* - others were $425 & $445]. They were nice on the phone & called to see if they could come an hour earlier - fine. The nice but quiet fella walked, moved, & talked slow but did a good job [it was a hot day but I provided a standing umbrella]. He only pumped the 1st/muck half of the tank [& half the other side empties too, back thru the baffle hole] and said that's standard..."it's just liquid." He did step on some plants but not sure how to do the job w/o doing so...just wish he'd asked me to move them 1st. *He charged $410 [$5 more than quoted] and when challenged, he checked his info & restated $410. [Well it's only $5 - but it's the principle that bothered me.] When requesting an invoice from the office, I briefly mentioned the quote difference, and they promptly Venmo'd the $5! Called these guys to pump my tank and they were exceptionally wonderful on the phone, as well as onsite! Very thorough and friendly, they explained everything in great detail and their price was the lowest to boot.
